The hotel was good, food was average. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. The building is still under construction. They got some rooms with good views of the Leh palace. Located very near to the main market of Leh. 5 minutes walk. Some good hotels offering traditional food is there in the market.

We reached Leh and stayed over at hotel sky desert for a period of three days. There is a Mr. Ayub, he'll be managing all travel related plans. The guy is street smart and will let you know how to proceed on one's journey. The hotel has 7 to 9 rooms and if you are looking for something that doesn't burns a hole in your pocket I'd advise you to book your stay at Hotel Sky Desert.

Mr.Ayub, owner of the hotel was very helpful. even after leaving his hotel he is there to give his hand. Though small hotel but everything is available on a call or when asked for. In anyways it is easily accessible from airport and main market.

Though this is not a big property but it's as good as staying at home. Staff & owner him self are too friendly & most helping. Have stayed with them along family for 5 days. No complaints as every thing is available on a call itself. Must visit SKY DESSERT if you plan LEH.. ALL THE BEST TEAM SKY DESSERT 👍

Disgusting overpriced rooms full of flies

The rooms wouldn't be that bad but the all hotel is infested by tons of flies coming from the trees outside. For this reason, it is overpriced. The rooms facing the main street are a little bit better but still you will have to share your room with hundreds of flies that in the night start to fly around lights and windows. For the same amount of money you can get way better rooms (maybe a bit far from the center, but Leh is really small). Plus, no one in the hotel can speak a proper english except for the owner which is never there.
